Our Square Foot Gardens

The zucchini plant we purchased at the Farm Market is our star performer. Hoping to pick our second zucchini this weekend.

We have planted most of our two four x four boxes. We still have a few squares to think about planting. We used the book Square Foot Gardening as our guide. Most of our backyard is weeds and bare spots. Since we won't be doing much about the yard until next year, we placed the boxes in sunny bare spots near the back door. We presently have tomatoes, grape tomatoes, zucchini, basil, cilantro, onions, carrots, radishes, parsley, zinnia, aster, watermelon, winter squash, beans, edamame, cantaloupe and a range of sticks planted by the boy (he swears they are growing). Any suggestions on what else to plant?
