Easter Brunch

We went to Easter Brunch at a hotel. They had lots of things for kids to do during the meal, including an egg hunt by the pool, egg decorating and painting. She didn't find any eggs, but enjoyed helping herself to the "kid's table" treats including the little people cookies.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our Easter Eggs were part of a poolside egg hunt we organized with C.'s family. We had a great time looking for eggs, chocolates and Marzipan bunnies. C.'s mom brought the bunnies back from Australia, their family home. Each child is holding an improvised Easter basket, some traditional bags that C.'s dad brought back from Vanauta.

Easter Egg Dying

We dyed 10 "kampong" eggs- eggs collected from backyard chickens that roam free. We selected kampong eggs because they were the only white eggs I could find at the store. Normally men eat such eggs raw, but we boiled them and dyed them yellow, blue, green and orange.

Groceries

She was shopping and brought home the "groceries".

Airplane

Last Sunday night, we left JFK airport at 9 p.m. EST for another trip to Jakarta. The headphones were a big hit on the airplane.
