We went to her friend's birthday party today. Guests were asked to wear a native costume or a "dance" costume. We bought this outfit on the street in Bali. She had fun wearing it with matching sparkly sneakers. In this photo, she is watching the clown twist balloons into interesting animal shapes.

We got up early today (Sunday) and did some Jakarta tourism. Our first stop was a Buddhist temple and a Chinese "wet" market- live chickens, snakes, fruit, vegetables, etc.. Next we went to the Wayang (puppet) Museum and had lunch out. In this photo, she is about to bang a traditional gong. 

She is standing between different instruments of a traditional gamelan orchestra. At the Museum, we watched a puppet show that was accompanied by a live gamelan performance.  

Ondel-Ondel are a traditional symbol of Jakarta. The Baroness is trying to shake their wooden hands.
