How To Pack with Children

As you may know, we are leaving the Elm City at the end of May for a cute little house in Viriginia (Dad has a job). Birthday thank you notes and packing were our morning plan. It never occurred to me, mom, that there were several ways to approach packing the contents of your home. For example, I learned today that the first step in packing is to decorate the outside of the moving box with pictures of flowers. According the Baroness, this step is important to ensure "The movers think the box is pretty."

We decorated and packed one large box today and the endeavor took over an hour. According to my calculations, if we continue to work as a "team" and keep up our current decorating/packing pace, the Baroness will be old enough to drive a Uhaul with all our stuff to Virginia...
